Real Estate Literacy Seminars
Most people buy, sell, or rent a handful of times in their entire lives, across the table from professionals who do it daily. These free sessions close that gap, in plain language, with no product to sell at the end.

What we do
We run free public seminars and conferences that explain how real estate actually works: realistic budgeting, offers and conditions, mortgage basics, presale contracts, tenant and small landlord rights, and how to recognize fraud aimed at buyers and seniors. Every session is taught in plain language, without jargon and without a sales pitch.
Sessions run as small community seminars where questions are welcome, as larger conferences that bring in speakers from across the JULY Company and the wider industry, and as sessions we bring directly to schools, workplaces, and community organizations on request.
How it works
Upcoming dates are announced by email as they are scheduled. Register your interest and the topics you care about, and we will let you know as soon as a session is confirmed near you. There is no fee and no obligation at any point.
If you represent a school, workplace, or community group, tell us about your audience through our contact page and we will work out which topics and format fit best.
Who it is for
First time buyers, renters, newcomers to Canada, students, seniors and their families, and honestly, anyone who has ever felt out of their depth signing a real estate document. No prior knowledge is assumed and no question is too basic.
Why JULY
Because the JULY Company works across residential, commercial, presale, and investment real estate, our seminars draw on specialists in each area rather than a single generalist speaker. Attendees get the same depth of knowledge our own clients rely on, at no cost and with nothing to buy.
