Deciding whether, when, and how to leave a long-held home is rarely simple. This program gives seniors and their families an independent, unhurried place to think it through, with no cost and nothing to sign.
What we do
We meet with seniors and the family members supporting them to walk through the real options: staying in place with modifications, rightsizing to a smaller home, moving nearer to family, or transitioning to a senior living community. Every conversation starts with listening, not a recommendation.
Where it helps the decision, we provide a clear, current picture of what the home is likely worth in today’s market, explained in plain terms rather than sales language, so choices are grounded in fact.
How it works
Submit a short request describing the situation, whether you are the senior considering a move or a family member helping from a distance. A member of the Foundation team follows up to listen first, then explains what guidance could look like for your circumstances.
From there, the pace is entirely yours. Some families want a single conversation to settle their thinking. Others want ongoing support across months of planning. Both are equally welcome.
Who it is for
Older adults weighing a housing change, and the adult children, relatives, or friends helping them consider it. There is no income test and no obligation to eventually sell or move through the JULY Company. Our role is to inform, not to transact.
Why JULY
Because the JULY Company is active across residential sales, presales, and investment property, we understand the practical mechanics of a move as well as the market. If a family later decides to act, we can connect them with trusted professionals, though the choice of who to work with always stays with the family.
