JULY Foundation

Three pillars, one purpose.

Everything the Foundation does fits under three commitments: fund the next generation, stand beside seniors, and teach real estate literacy to everyone. Here is each program in depth.

Scholarships & Bursaries

Backing the people who will build, sell, and steward the homes of tomorrow.

Canada needs more builders, more tradespeople, and more well-trained real estate professionals. The Foundation supports students on those paths with scholarships and bursaries, so that talent and work ethic, not family finances, decide who gets to enter these careers.

We welcome inquiries from students in real estate and related programs, construction management, apprenticeships, and the skilled trades, at colleges, universities, and trade schools.

Who it is for

Students and apprentices pursuing real estate, construction management, urban land economics, or a skilled trade.

Seniors

Housing guidance and senior living transition support, offered with patience and care.

Leaving a long-held family home is one of the hardest decisions of later life. The Foundation offers seniors and their families independent guidance through that transition: understanding what the home is worth, what the options are, and what a move would actually look like, step by step.

Our help is practical and real estate based. We explain rightsizing, senior living options, and the mechanics of selling or leasing a home, and we connect families with the JULY Company expertise they need, always at the family’s own pace.

Who it is for

Older adults considering a housing change, and the family members helping them through it.

Education

Free real estate literacy seminars and conferences, open to all.

Most people transact real estate a handful of times in their lives, against professionals who do it every day. Our seminars level that ground. Sessions are taught in plain language and cover buying, selling, renting, mortgages, presales, and how to recognize fraud that targets buyers and seniors.

Seminars are free of charge. We run them for community groups, schools, workplaces, and the general public, and we welcome invitations to bring a session to your organization.

Who it is for

First-time buyers, renters, newcomers, students, seniors, and anyone who wants to understand the market they live in.

Programs grow through partners.

Schools, builders, community organizations, and professionals across the JULY Company network all help carry these programs. If your organization would like to partner on scholarships, seniors outreach, or a seminar, tell us how you would like to be involved.
