Construction & Skilled Trades Bursaries
Every home the JULY Company ever sells was built by someone first. This bursary backs the apprentices and construction students doing that building, so a tight budget never decides who finishes their training.
What we do
The Foundation provides bursaries to apprentices and students in construction management, building technology, and the skilled trades, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and the other disciplines that turn drawings into finished buildings. Support is weighted toward financial need rather than academic ranking alone.
Funds go toward tuition, tool costs, safety certifications, and the travel or living expenses that apprenticeships often require, especially for students who relocate for training or work placements outside their home community.
How it works
Apply through the same scholarship inquiry used across the Foundation, and select construction, building, or skilled trades as your field of study. Tell us your program, your training provider or employer if you are an indentured apprentice, and roughly where you are in your hours or coursework.
We reply with the current bursary cycle and what to submit. Apprentices working toward Red Seal or provincial certification are welcome to apply at any stage of their hours, not only at entry.
Who it is for
Registered apprentices in a recognized trade, students in construction management or building technology programs, and anyone completing hours toward a trade certification who can show financial need. Career changers entering the trades later in life are just as welcome as students straight out of school.
